She envisions a world transformed by love and compassion, where every child is welcome, every adult is fulfilled and love softens hate into gratitude.

She believes it could happen. Perhaps it is fantasy, yet the power of her vision tells her that it is possible.

Cultivating Joy

“Her Best Day Ever” She knows there is no other day promised but this. After years of learning to cultivate joy, she offers a prayer for those who feel joy is out of reach.

She prays: Dear God, I surrender to the beauty and joy this day brings. Though I cannot always see reasons to be joyful, I trust that I am wrapped in a web of joy—at times invisible and unknowable. I trust it exists and makes itself known to me as I acknowledge its presence. Today is my best day ever because I declare it so. Amen.

Her heart is so full of love that her body cannot contain it. It is love beyond ego’s measure. She speaks to searchers and explorers seeking love in their own lives.

She prays: Dear God, I open my heart to receive your love, to be your love in form, to embody your love and compassion. Let my love expand out and out to the farthest reaches of the universe; a love without limit; a love without end; a love that heals all wounds. Amen.

“She Walks with Angels" With eyes closed, she hears the still small voice in her head that makes her heart sing. Friends call her Earth Angel. She calls herself Beloved. In person, her portrait glows with light, as if she stands in a shower of flowers.

I like to treat my artwork with loving care. To me, each piece is an expression of the divine. I bless each piece as it emerges and give thanks at its completion. Each piece names itself and tells me the message or story it wants to share.

Finishing my art with loving care is like curling my hair and applying lipstick before leaving the house. I like a finishing touch. It makes me feel that I appreciate and honor the gift of my physical body. I feel the same way about my art. I like to finish it with gratitude and loving care.

My process is just one way to finish your artwork. You will discover your own preferences along the way. Wishing you much joy on your artistic path!
